MARK LANCASTER
…BASICS;
FULL NAME: Mark Lancaster
ALIASES: G-Force
AGE: 37
DATE OF BIRTH: November 12th
GENDER: Male
BIRTHPLACE: Toronto, Canada
MARITAL STATUS: Single
SEXUALITY: Straight

…APPEARANCE;

HEIGHT: 6'4"
WEIGHT: 235 lbs
EYE COLOR: Green
HAIR COLOR: Brown
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Several small scars on his back and legs, a Maple Leafs emblem tattooed on his right shoulder, and a Rebel Alliance emblem tattooed on his left shoulder.

PERSONAL STYLE: It's probably a good thing Mark is so tall and muscular, because he can make dressing like a geek look good. He typically wears plain jeans and boots, with tee shirts of his favorite wrestlers, comic book characters, or movies. He has a couple of suits that he'll wear if need be, but when it's up to him? Mark likes to be as relaxed and casual as can be. He's also a fan of wearing one of his many Star Wars baseball caps whenever he can.
…MUTATION;

ABILITIES: Primary: Gravity manipulation - Mark can mentally cancel out or extremely increase the gravity of objects and people. The degree of which he can is typically decided by a combination of his concentration and the size of the object/person. He can also control his own gravitational pull, and can completely cancel out his own gravity enabling him to float into the air. He enables himself to fly by way of self-made propulsion units in his boots that guide him through the air while levitating.

Secondary: Concussive blasts - Mark has also realized that he can channel negated gravity into force blasts, although for now he rarely does this, as he currently cannot control the size or range of the blast.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Mark has been writing his own stories since he was a little boy, and always said if he had any artistic talent at all that he'd turn his stories into a comic book. He's also very physically durable, agile, and strong due to his time in professional wrestling.
…PERSONALITY;

Mark is, at heart, a total geek, and proud of it. He was an anomaly in high school - the jock that spent more time hanging out with the "nerds" than with his fellow jocks. He loves comic books, is a huge Marvel fanboy, and is obsessed with Star Wars and Doctor Who. When he gets into a deep discussion about any of these things, he lights up like a kid on Christmas morning, all animated and excited.

Mark is also a big fan of his hometown hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. He's gone to games every season with his dad from the time he was 6 years old. He collects books, photos, and collectibles of the team's Stanley Cup victories. He's also a big fan of pro wrestling, and, along with having gone into the profession for a few years, he collects DVDs and t-shirts of his favorite matches and stars.

Mark's sense of humor is both one of his greatest assets and one of his biggest flaws. He can make a joke out of pretty much anything, which can both help him (by way of distraction), and harm him (by making people think he can't take anything seriously). Once you get to know him, you'll eventually see the more serious side of him. But until then? His shield made of humor remains up.

…HISTORY;

PARENTS: Robert & Flora Lancaster
SIBLINGS: Jake Lancaster (Brother, age 24)
OTHER RELATIVES: No other close relatives

Mark Lancaster had what some would call the ideal childhood. While his parents weren't well-off by any means, they made sure he had anything he wanted that they could afford. Both parents were attentive, and made him feel loved. His father began taking him to Leafs games when he was six years old, a tradition they still try to carry on to this day. His mother, a writer for one of Toronto's local newspapers, got him into writing early, and they made a habit of working together on ideas for Mark's stories and characters. She bought him his first comic books, and gleefully joined him in learning about all the superheroes and supervillains.

The one thing that the three of them always did together though, was go to the wrestling matches together. Whenever the old WWF would bring matches into town, the Lancasters would take Mark and his younger brother Jake to the matches, buy them t-shirts, and enjoy watching the boys cheer their hearts out for their favorites. It became such a happy reminder of his family and his childhood, that it carried him into adulthood and a job.

Throughout high school, Mark managed to exist in that middle-ground of popularity: just good enough at sports to make him moderately popular with the jocks and the girls, but geeky enough to happily hang out with the 'nerdier' crowd. He reveled in his reputation though, even wearing a Green Lantern ring to prom, and having his senior picture taken while holding a Darth Maul lightsaber. He made a point of being supportive of his brother, especially when the boy came out to the family and told them he was gay. Mark even went and walked in the city's Pride parade that year, as a show of support.

Shortly after graduation, Mark made the decision to become a pro wrestler. He contacted the heads of one of the local promotions, and worked out plans to be trained by them. His natural athleticism allowed him to get through the training with ease, and he learned how to take bumps like a natural. By the time he was twenty, he was spending most of his time wrestling around the city and surrounding areas, while spending his free time submerged in his writing.

While he wasn't a good enough artist to make his comics a real thing (nor did he have the time to go and find people willing to help), he was able to draw a good enough rendition of his character's costume to hire a local tailor to help him create a version of it he could wrestle in, that looked cool and intimidating. His wrestling career was starting to take off, and he was getting enough acclaim as masked wrestler The Raptor that rumblings had begun about him possibly being invited to train at the WWE's 'minor league' system. But before any of that could happen... it all came crumbling down around him.

After having a several-weeks-long argument with one of his fellow wrestlers, the other man decided to mess with Mark during a match, and start talking trash in an attempt to make him so angry he'd screw up. Mark largely ignored the comments... but when the man told him he was going to hurt him "in front of your fairy brother", Mark saw red. But before he could attack his opponent, his eyes turned white, and suddenly the other man was floating in the air. Higher, and higher, and higher some more, until he finally fell to the mat with a thud, breaking his leg and hip on impact.

Now panicked, Mark began to accidentally cause the ring itself to slowly levitate off of the ground, as security quickly evacuated the small gymnasium the event was being held in. It took obvious bigotry against someone he loved to finally set off Mark's latent mutant abilities... and now he had learned about them at the same moment everyone else did.

Afraid for their son's welfare, now that locals were making threats against him, The Lancasters made plans for Mark to move to Los Angeles, CA and stay with a family friend while adopting their last name. During that brief time, Mark had learned to control his powers (not completely, but enough to use them and not be dangerous) and had taken to wearing his wrestling costume (now modified, through color changes and a few weapons built in) to take to the streets as the 'superhero' G-Force, attempting to protect citizens and prevent crime.

As more and more mutants began to be revealed, it became harder and harder for Mark to keep his anonymity. But before he could end up being discovered by the government, the reality gem pulled him into an all-new world...
